"Back then, being a young female, I'm quite fuss free when it comes to electronic gadgets and my priority when choosing a camera is solely for its design and hype. Soon after, when I start comparing shots I took against the shots in my friend's Canon's camera, I realized how lack luster and vibrancy the colours in my pictures look (mind you my camera's not cheap). From that time, I told myself my next camera's gonna be a Canon. With their latest introduction of new camera designs and colours, I am now able to look the part of being cool without compromising on my picture quality. What can I say? I'm now a true Canon convert!"

At the recent Singapore Airshow, I brought along the IXUS 75 and was impressed by the quality of the pictures that I was able to take with this compact camera. I've used other digital cameras and had low expectations of the photos that I may be able to take during the show. In fact, I was expecting lots of pictures of 'nice blue sky' without the planes. But to my surprised, I managed to get many good photos with the IXUS 75. The best moment for me was to be able to have a sequence of photos capturing the 2 planes in the process of forming the figure of "arrow through the heart". I was even able to use the "zoom" function to get some really nice close-ups pictures the planes in flight! It was especially satisfying to know that the photos I took were the clearest when compared to those my friend took using other cameras.
